Окна ПВХ являются превосходными тепло- и шумоизоляторами, не в последнюю очередь, именно, благодаря наличию качественных систем уплотнения, обеспечивающих высокий уровень герметичности.
На сегодняшний день металлопластиковые окна чаще всего имеют два, реже - три уплотнительных контура, а дискуссии специалистов об их оптимальном количестве и расположении не прекращаются. В основном споры сосредоточены вокруг целесообразности применения третьего контура. Одни считают его действительно полезным, другие - обычным маркетинговым приёмом, придуманным с целью убедить потребителя покупать окна по завышенной цене. Попробуем разобраться, кто же на самом деле прав.
Окна пвх можно разделить на три группы в зависимости от числа контуров уплотнения и места их установки:

с двумя контурами (внутренним и внешним);
с двумя контурами (внутренним и средним);
с тремя контурами (внутренним, внешним и средним).

В первом случае один из уплотнительных контуров находится на створке окна со стороны помещения (внутренний), а второй - на оконной раме снаружи (внешний). Этот вариант в настоящее время наиболее распространён.
Во второй системе зона примыкания профилей створки и рамы окна делится средним контуром на две камеры – наружную и внутреннюю. Первая, называемая также «холодной», предназначена для отвода влаги. Во второй камере, «тёплой», в более комфортных, по сравнению с первой системой условиях, находятся механизмы открывания. В последней, трёхконтурной системе при наличии двух упорных контуров средний уплотнитель максимально защищён от негативного влияния низких температур, поэтому намного дольше сохраняет свои упругие свойства. Поэтому данный вариант уплотнения окна пвх выглядит наиболее оптимальным. При длительной эксплуатации окна может возникнуть необходимость замены резиновых уплотнителей.В металлопластиковом окне это сделать достаточно просто. Достаточно просто приобрести необходимый уплотнитель и даже самостоятельно его уложить в специальный паз.
